Topic overview
A language assignment is a link between a language from Comarch ERP Enterprise and a language from Comarch Webshop. With this link you can specify which language in Comarch ERP Enterprise is to provide translations for the language in Comarch Webshop.
This document describes the Comarch Webshop language assignments application and its available fields. Instructions on how to work with this application, e.g. how to create and edit Comarch Webshop language assignments, correspond to the general procedures for table applications, which can be found in the document General Procedures for Table Applications.
Definition of terms
Language
Comarch ERP Enterprise provides several options for using languages and language-dependent data. For each database, a primary language and possible secondary languages are defined, which determine the languages in which localizable attributes can be edited. The user settings determine the languages in which the user will work. In the Languages application you can create languages that will be available as correspondence languages.
Application description
With the Comarch Webshop language assignments application you can create a new language assignment between a language in Comarch Webshop and a language in Comarch ERP Enterprise or edit already existing assignments. Language assignments can be used to make more languages available in Comarch Webshop and link them to the correct translations in Comarch ERP Enterprise. This way, multilingual fields in Comarch ERP Enterprise are transferred to the correct languages in the Webshop. The application consists of a query pane and a work pane.
Query pane
In the query pane, it is possible to specify the search criteria and then search for the relevant language assignment via the option Update and display them in the work pane.
Available fields:

Work pane
With the Comarch Webshop language assignments application you can create a new language assignment between a language in Comarch Webshop and a language in Comarch ERP Enterprise or edit already existing assignments. The application’s work pane consists of a table. Each language assignment corresponds in the table to one row with the relevant data displayed under the following columns:

| Sales channel | Enter the sales channel for which a language assignment will be set. |
| Webshop language | Enter the language from Comarch Webshop for which the language assignment should apply. |
| Language | Enter the language that should apply for the language in Comarch Webshop. |
Customizing
In the Customizing application, the following settings of the Comarch Webshop function are relevant for Comarch Webshop language assignments application.

Business entities
The following business entity is relevant for the Comarch Webshop language assignments application. It is used, for example, to perform the following:

Authorizations
Authorizations can be assigned by means of authorization roles as well as by assignment of organizations. The authorization concept is described in the technical documentation Authorizations.
Special capabilities
There are no special capabilities for Comarch Webshop language assignments application.
Organization assignments
Organizational structures are used to control which data can be viewed, used or edited. For this purpose, the Content-related authorization functions must be activated in the Customizing application.
To ensure that a person can be see the Comarch Webshop language assignments application in the user menu and can open it, the user must be assigned to an organization that is connected at least to one the following organization structures:
- Sales
- Client
To be able to query the assignments of languages, the organization assigned to a user in the Sales channels application must be created in the Authorizations table.
