In application Comarch Retail POS barcode rules, it is possible to define regular expressions by means of which barcodes of appropriate reference types are checked for correctness in the Comarch POS application.
The application is composed of the header and the workspace.
Application header
In the application header, it is possible to filter lists by selected objects:
- All
- Lot
- Document
- Customer
- Voucher
- Assistant
- Loyalty card
- Packaging unit
After selecting a given object/object and clicking on [Refresh] button a list of the settings and barcodes will be filtered for a given type.
Workspace
In the workspace, the user can define new formula for barcodes of selected object type.
To add new formula, it is necessary to select [New] or [Duplicate], if it is necessary to duplicate an already existing table row.
After selecting the button [New], in the table appears new row in which it is possibile to determine specific values for columns:
- Object type for which the new rule is being entered
- Regular expression for which the validation will be performed. It is a configuration tool which must be used in order to check the entered text. Regular expressions allow to maintain nomenclature cohesion and coding present in the system. When validating a field, the application checks whether its text fulfills that condition.
This expression means that only numbers composed of 18 characters can be accepted.
The second option of entering data in the application consists of duplication which copies a row currently selected in the table with the possibility of modifying it.
After entering required data, it is necessary to save it with the help of the [Save] button.
To make data available on the POS workstation, it is necessary to start the Comarch POS application: Export meta data
