Comarch Retail POS user group assignment

From the level of application Comarch Retail POS user group assignment, it is possible to associate selected operator groups with a sales channel. Thanks to that, the user can manage privileges of user groups on all POS workstations assigned to a given sales channel.

Application header

In the application header, it is possible to filter lists by selected sales channel or user group. To do so, it is necessary to open searching options for Sales channel or User group value and select [Value assistant] button. After selecting the button, a window in which it is possible to find the assignment for the selected sales channel or user group.

Workspace

In the workspace, the user can associate an operator group with a sales channel. To do so, it is necessary to select [New] or [Duplicate], if it is necessary to duplicate an already existing table row.

After selecting the button [New], in the table appears new row in which it is possible to determine specific values for columns:

  • Sales channel – sales channel with which the user group will be associated
  • User group – user group assigned to a sales channel
Example

If STORE_NY user group is associated with SAL sales channel, this group possess privileges on all POS workstations to which that sales channel is assigned.

  • Sales channel – SAL
  • User group – STORE_NY

Assignment of user groups can be done also in the application Comarch Retail POS terminals, in Operator groups tab.

Note
If an assignment in the Comarch Retail POS terminals application is:

  • Specified, the settings from this application are taken into account
  • Not specified, the sales channel assignment is taken into account.

The second option of entering data in the application consists of duplication which copies a row currently selected in the table with the possibility of modifying it.
After entering required data it is necessary to save it with the help of the [Save] button.

An assignment can be deleted with the use of [Delete] button placed on the standard toolbar. Since after saving changes a given assignment cannot be deleted, in such case, in order to edit it, it is necessary to delete it and define again. To make data available on the POS workstation, it is necessary to start the Comarch POS application POS export privileges
