The extension of the Warehouses application supporting multi-channel sales provides additional fields enabling the user to handle features from the Multi-channel sales framework. The extension makes it possible to assign a multi-channel sales classification to a warehouse. Classifications facilitate warehouse management processes.

The Multi-channel sales tab is available after selecting the [Select and organize views] → [Multi-channel sales] buttons in the standard toolbar.

The tab contains the following field:

• MCS warehouse classification – it allows selecting a warehouse classification to be used for the purposes of availability calculations in a sales channel. Classifications are retrieved from the Classifications application and can be displayed by selecting the [Value assistant] button.

Business entities

The following business entity is relevant to the Warehouses application: com.cisag.app.inventory.obj.StorageArea. It is used, for instance, when performing the following actions:

• Controlling storage locations
• Ordering stock

The business entity is not a part of any business entity group.

Customizing

No settings need to be made in the Customizing application for the extension of the Warehouses application.
