Comarch Retail POS warehouse process assignments

With the use of application Comarch Retail POS warehouse process assignments it is possible to determine warehouses which will be used for imported trade documents and on a POS workstation when generating trade documents. Thanks to that, it is possible to specify the warehouse from which it will be possible to retrieve items. For each document type, within a sales channel indicated in the application header, it is possible to specify a default warehouse.

Application header

In the application header, it is possible to filter lists by selected sales channel. To do so, it is necessary to open searching options for Sales channel value
and select [Value assistant] button. After selecting the button, a window in which it is possible to find the adequate sales channel.

After selecting button [Start] the system displays the complete list with the possibility of selecting
and filtering a given sales channel. Button [Apply] allows for indicating a given sales channel in the application header.

Workspace

In the application workspace, the user can define new warehouse assignment with a document in a sales channel context, as well as modify or delete already existing settings for a given sales channel. To define new assignment, it is necessary to select [New] or [Duplicate], if it is necessary to duplicate an already existing table row.

After selecting the button [New], in the table appears new row in which it is possible to determine specific values for columns:

Fields available in the application header:

  • Sales channel – sales channel for which the assignment will be available (mandatory field)
  • Warehouse – warehouse for which the documents will be issued (mandatory field)
Hint
If in the settings of the application Comarch Retail POS warehouse process assignments, the warehouse is not specified, the warehouse assigned to the sales channel is used.
  • Document type – documents for which a given warehouse is supposed to be available:
    • Receipt
    • Receipt correction
    • Sales invoices
    • Sales invoice correction
    • Complaint
    • Warehouse movement WM-
    • Sales order
    • Warehouse movement WM+
  • Priority – priority of execution of a given warehouse process assignment. If several warehouses for one document type are used within a given sales channel, with the use of the Priority field it is possible to determine which of those warehouses has to be taken into account as first.
Example

Two warehouses are assigned to SAL sales channel (Warehouse 100 and Warehouse 200) for the same document type (Receipt):

  • Sales channel – SAL
  • Warehouse – 100
  • Priority – 1
  • Document type – Receipt

and:

  • Sales channel – SAL
  • Warehouse – 200
  • Priority – 3
  • Document type – Receipt

The warehouse whose priority is higher (Warehouse 100) will be taken into account as first when retrieving items during a receipt issuance.

After entering required data, it is necessary to save it with the help of the [Save] button.

To make data available on the POS workstation, it is necessary to start the Comarch POS application: Export metadata.
