The Change numbers application makes it easier to create and track processes related to the implementation of engineering change requests (ECRs).  Change numbers defined in the application can be entered in applications related to the production process.

The application’s header contains the following buttons:

• [New] – it makes it possible to add or duplicate a change number
• [Delete] – it makes it possible to delete change number or mark/unmark it for deletion. If a deletion marker has been set, a change number is deleted after using the button [Refresh] or [Save]. It is not possible to delete a change number if it is used in an application related to a defined production process.

The application header contains the following fields:

• Change number – the name of an entered change number
• Description – the additional description of an entered change number
• Valid from – the beginning date of the validity period of an entered change number. If a change number is used in applications related to the production process, the validity date is taken from the change number.
• Deletion marker – it contains a drop-down menu allowing the user to filter table line items:
  • (All) – it selects all the options available in the menu
  • Marked as deleted – it displays line items with a deletion marker
  • Not marked for deletion – it displays line items without a deletion marker

The table is composed of two columns with names corresponding to the application fields Change number, Description, and Valid from.
