The OXID extension tab in the Base view of the Items application makes it possible to complete item information: tags, labels, or information on availability.

The OXID tab is made available after selecting the OXID extension using the [Select and organize views] button.
Main section
- Tags – it allows entering item tags that can be used for filtering search results in the OXID store
- Search terms – it allows entering terms that can be used for searching items
- MPN (Manufacturer Product Number) – it allows entering a manufacturer product number to be transferred directly onto the item form in the OXID store administrator panel
- Manufacture EAN – it allows entering a manufacturer’s EAN. This information will be transferred to the OXID store administrator panel.
Extended section
This section allows filling in item information relevant to customers or the store administrator. Available fields include:
- Unit quantity – it allows entering an item quantity to be sold (e.g. 1 (kilogram) or 1 (piece))
- Searchable – it allows the item to be included in item search results in the OXID store
- Unit name – it is the name of a unit to be displayed on the item form along with a quantity (e.g. (1) kilogram or (1) piece)
- Intangible Product – it specifies whether the item is tangible. This information is displayed in the store administrator panel.
- External URL – it allows entering a URL address (e.g. of the item manufacturer’s website)
- Free Shipping – it specifies whether the item is shipped for free. This information is displayed in the store administrator panel.
- Text for external URL – it allows entering a text description of the URL address (e.g. Learn more about the manufacturer at…)
- Deactivate price alert – it allows deactivating the item price alert. This information is displayed in the store administrator panel.
- File – it allows adding a file (e.g. a document) from the system’s internal repository
- Skip all negative Discounts – it allows specifying if negative discounts are to be considered
Stock section
This section allows defining individual information on an item’s availability and adjusting the item’s visibility in the store depending on its availability:
- In stock message – it allows entering a text to be displayed if the item is available. The text will be displayed if the According to sales channel setting option is selected in the Delivery status field.
- Delivery status – it allows selecting item delivery statuses from the drop-down list:
- Standard – the standard status of the OXID store
- If out of Stock offline – the item will not be displayed if its availability is 0
- If out of Stock not orderable – the item will be displayed in the store but customers will not be able to buy it
- External Storehouse – since it is not possible to specify item availability in an external warehouse, items with this status will always be available for sales
- According to sales channel setting – the application will use settings defined in the Sales channels application
- Out of stock message – it allows entering a text to be displayed if the item is not available. The text will be displayed if the According to sales channel setting option is selected in the Delivery status field.
