In Calculate production inventory values application you can specify the criteria to calculate all production inventory values for the work-in-progress. The procedures below describe the following steps to be performed in order to calculate the inventory values for valuation and provide information about possible preconditions and results.

Calculate production inventory values

1. Open the Calculate production inventory values
2. Select the [New] button available on the standard toolbar.
3. In the Valuation field, enter a unique identifier.
4. In the Description field, type the name of the newly defined valuation.
5. In the By date field, enter a date for which the value of production inventory is to be calculated.
6. In the Valuation price field, select a relevant valuation price from the drop-down list for item valuation.
7. You can also complete data in the fields of the Selection
8. Select the [Save] button available on the standard toolbar.
9. Select the [Calculation of values for inventories that are in the production process] button. A dialog window for batch processing settings will open.
10. Select [In batch] button to run the calculation of production inventory values.

Duplicate production inventory valuation

1. Open the Calculate production inventory values application
2. In the Valuation field, enter an identifier of production inventory valuation to be duplicated.
3. Select the [Refresh] button available on the standard toolbar.

• The query results corresponding to the selected valuation will be displayed in the application window.

4.Select the [Duplicate] button available on the standard toolbar.

• The data will be duplicated.

5. In the Valuation field, enter an identifier of the new valuation. You can enter a different value in this field.
6. You can change your query in the other fields.
7. Select the [Save] button available on the standard toolbar.
8. Select the [Calculation of values for inventories that are in the production process] button. A dialog window for batch processing settings will open.
9. Select [In batch] button to run the calculation of production inventory values.

Edit production inventory valuation

1. Open the Calculate production inventory values application
2. In the Valuation field, enter an identifier of the production inventory valuation to be edited.
3. Select the [Refresh] button available on the standard toolbar.
4. Change your query to calculate the production inventory values.
5. Select the [Save] button available on the standard toolbar.
6. Select the [Calculation of values for inventories that are in the production process] button. A dialog window for batch processing settings will open.
7. Select [In batch] button to run the calculation of production inventory values.
