Reorganize calculation schemas

The Reorganize calculation schemas application is a batch application. It allows for deleting selected calculation schemas from the database and associated business objects once specific conditions are fulfilled. Calculation schemas with deletion mark are subject to deletion. Data with deletion mark is verified in terms of its usage:

For it is possible to reorganize particular calculation schemas, it is necessary to fulfill the following conditions:

  • mark selected calculation schema for deletion
  • a calculation schema cannot be used by product cost calculations, trade cost calculations or item configuration

The application has a form of a dialog window, typical for batch applications. The form is composed of the following tabs: Application and Batch settings, divided into sections and subsequent tabs.

Tab Application

In the identification pane, there are fields containing information about the application:

  • Batch application – name of opened application
  • Development object – name of the development object related to the application

Tab Action

In the tab, the following fields are available:

  • Maximum run time – maximum time after which the application is closed. The default value is 10 minutes.
  • Export mode – allows for defining data archiving settings. The following export modes are available:
    • Do not export
    • Export all attributes – e.g., sales order number
    • Export with filter – export filter specifying exported attributes.
      This mode is only available if the export of the Export data application is enabled.

The export mode is only available if the reorganization application allows for archiving data.

  • Destination folder – destination folder used for archiving reorganized data. The data is saved in a subfolder with the same name as the OLTP database name. Under this folder, there is another folder for each business unit where appropriate archive files are saved. The default subfolder is user/archive in the path of the server file for the application server of the system.
  • Export filter – for the Export with filter export mode, you can  specify an export filter to be used for archiving in this field. The export filter can be created in the Export data application.   This field is only then available if the business object to be reorganized can be exported using the Export data application.
  • Confirm warnings – if the parameter is checked, warnings related to the transferring of execution of the batch job are automatically confirmed.
