Application description
The Cockpit: Control plans application provides an overview of all control plans created by the user. It is used to search for control plans according to set criteria. From the list of control plans, it is possible to perform actions on multiple control plans simultaneously. This is helpful for those responsible for control plans, e.g. to see which documents need to be approved and perform the required actions.
The application consists of:
- Query pane – contains buttons and fields for filtering the data displayed in the table.
- Table – displaying data according to the search criteria entered in the header.
For a description of the standard buttons located in the application header, see the article Settings for List-type applications, which also describes the capabilities of List-type applications.
Query pane
The header of the application Cockpit: Control plans contains the following action buttons:
[Add] – opens a blank list sheet
[Save] – button inactive in the List application: Control plans. In order to save the search template, you need to do it using configurable views.
[Delete] – button inactive in the List application: Control Plans. Use the [Update] action button to remove the entered filters.
[Insert deletion marker] – allows you to insert a deletion marker into a table entry
[Delete deletion marker] – allows you to remove the deletion marker to an item in the table
[Update] – refreshes the data in the table
- [Update (background)] – refreshes the table data in the background. As a result of performing this action, the item table is refreshed. If the number of entered search results exceeds 1000, the action allows you to display all items (by default, when searching for data in a list type application, 1000 results are displayed).
- [Stop] – in case of a large amount of updated data (more than 1000 results), allows you to stop the update process
- [Recalculate objects] – the system recalculates the number of items matching the set criteria. The information is displayed in the form of an information message and the search fields and the results table are cleared.
[Calculate and display totals] – action button not active in the List application: Control Plans because the results do not have figures that can be summed.
[Export] – allows you to export your search results to a file.
- [Export displayed objects] – opens a dialog box where you can define settings for exporting objects to PDF or XLS file.
- [Export objects according to search criteria] – opens a background application that allows you to perform an export of items to the system knowledge repository in the selected format.
- [Copy link with search criteria] – opens a dialog box displaying the link with search criteria and allows you to modify it.
[Edit] – execution of this action assigns a status In development to the control plan. As a result, the control plan can be released or approved in subsequent stages.
[Approve] – performing this action assigns a status of Pending Approval to the control plan. As a result, the control plan can be released or edited in subsequent stages.
[Release] – execution of this action assigns a Released status to the control plan. As a result, the control plan can be used in the quality control process.
[Block] – executing this action assigns a Blocked status to the control plan. As a result, the control plan cannot be used in the quality control process.
[Reject] – performing this action assigns a Rejected status to the inspection plan. As a result, the control plan cannot be used in the quality control process.
Due to the ability to enable and disable versioning of control plans in the Configuration application, the [Edit], [Reject] and [Approve] actions will not always be executable. Below are charts of status changes for control plans with and without versioning activated.
The header contains search fields. The most important search fields are available from the beginning of the application, but the number of fields and their arrangement may vary. For more detailed information on the meaning of the fields, refer to the explanations in the Control Plan documentation.
