Intrastat: Collection terms

The Intrastat collection terms application is available when the Active parameter is selected under Customizing → Intrastat function.

In the Intrastat collection terms application you can define a payment form used in trading of partner’s goods. Intrastat collection terms are assigned in the Service intrastat data section → Collection term field of the Partners application under Customer and Supplier views.

Note
The Service intrastat data section is editable under the views, if the Include service parameter (Customizing application → Intrastat function) is selected in the organization to which the user is logged in and the Intrastat view is selected in the Partners application under [Select and organize views] button.

The application consists of a query pane with the standard toolbar and a work pane.

Query pane

In the query pane, you can enter search criteria and filter the list through the action [Refresh].

Available search fields:

  • Code – you can search for the defined collection terms by their IDs in this field
  • Description – additional description used as a search criterion

Work pane

In the work pane, using the standard button available in the query pane, you can add a new collection term by selecting the [New] button. You can also duplicate an already existing entry using the option [Duplicate] (only description is duplicated into a new line), delete the entry with the [Delete] button as well as mark an entry for deletion or remove the added deletion marker.

With the buttons in the work pane you can additionally sort the data in the table and export the search results into a file.

Available fields:

  • Code (mandatory field) – identification of payment form. It can consist of 2 characters maximum (letters, digits or letter and digit combination as well as selected special characters such as dot, comma, dash, underscore). This field is editable until the changes are saved.
  • Description(mandatory field) – additional description of collection term (e.g., Cash)
Note
It is not possible to delete the collection term selected on the partner chart.

Business entities

The following business entity is relevant to the Intrastat collection terms application: com.sem.ext.app.intrast.obj.IntrastatCollectionTerms. It is used, for example, to perform one of the following:

  • assign authorizations
  • set activity definition
  • import or export data

Authorizations

Authorizations can be assigned by means of authorization roles as well as by assignment of organizations. The authorization concept is described in the article Authorizations.

Special capabilities

There are no special capabilities for the Intrastat collection terms application.

Organizational assignments

An organizational assignment is not required for the Intrastat collection terms application.

The Intrastat collection terms application is not released for business partners.
