Company calendar types

The three applications: Company calendar day types, Company calendar types, and Company calendar allow the overall management of the enterprise in the context of accepted plans and the production process.

The system makes it possible to define the company calendar type of a given organization. To do so, select the type in Customizing → Functions → Base → General → Company calendar type.

Note
In a multi-site environment, it is possible to set up dedicated calendars for a selected organization.

The Company calendar types application allows creating a new calendar type or searching for an existing one, based on which it is possible to create a new entry.

Company calendar types application

The application is composed of a header, containing the standard toolbar, and a work pane.

The application header enables you to enter the identification data of a new calendar type through the following fields:

  • Company calendar type (required) – it is the ID of the calendar type. It can be composed of up to 10 characters, including digits, letters, or their combinations.
  • Description (required) – it is an description of the calendar type

Work pane

The application’s work pane contains the Used day types section, where you can make assignments between particular days of the week and day types defined in the Company calendar day types application. Such assignments are required for all days of the week.

Example
For Monday through Friday, you can assign the Working day day type; in turn, for Saturday and Sunday, you can assign the Weekend type.

Customizing

No additional settings are required for the Company calendar types application in the Customizing application.

Business entities

The following business entity is relevant to the Company calendar types application: com.cisag.app.general.calendar.obj.CalendarType. It is used, for instance, to:

  • Assign authorizations
  • Export and import data

The business entity is part of the following business entity group: com.cisag.app.general.MasterData.

Authorizations

Authorizations can be assigned by means of authorization roles as well as by assignment of organizations.

The authorization concept is described in the Authorizations article.

Organization assignments

The Company calendar types application is not associated with an organization structure.

Special features

The Company calendar types application has no special features.

Authorizations for business partners

The Company calendar types application is not released for business partners.
