This article describes the procedures for using the Identifier where-used list application. The procedures contain instructions on how to query the identifier where-used list. It also informs about possible preconditions and effects.

Procedures
- Open the Identifier where-used list application
- Select the view you want to use for the query
- In the query pane, enter an identifier-managed item and the identifier whose origin or usage you want to query
- Specify the desired level of tracing
- Select the [Refresh] button in the standard toolbar
- The specified item and the specified identifier are validated. If the query is successful, the work pane will display all the relevant identifier where-used lists for the origin or usage.
Note
If you change the view, the item and the identifier of the current view are adopted if there is no entry in the fields for either the item or the identifier in the view you are switching to.
