The Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application is described below. This cockpit is used to query incoming and outgoing invoices from the ERP and allows them to be transferred again to financial accounting and controlling.
The Repeat invoice transfer cockpit is a customizable cockpit and can be flexibly adapted to each individual user. A detailed description of the customizable cockpits can be found in the article Customizable Cockpits.
Application description
With the help of the Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application, you can get an overview of all or individual incoming and outgoing invoices transferred from the ERP. All incoming and outgoing invoices that match the search criteria of the query pane are displayed. Actions can be used to transfer the invoices to financial accounting and controlling again.
The application consists of a query and a work pane.
Query pane
Query fields are stored in the query pane. Usually the most important query fields are already available. However, the number of query fields and their placement can vary. You can determine yourself which query fields are displayed.
The fields of the query pane in detail:
- Origin indication of whether it is an incoming or outgoing invoice
- Status (Transfer) – select the invoices here based on their status information. The status information can be combined for the search. Valid values are:
- (All)
- Transfer status Controlling
- Not transferred
- Transfer
- In process
- Transfer status Financial accounting
- Not transferred
- Transfer
- In process
- Supplier invoice number – if necessary, enter one or more incoming invoice numbers as a search criterion for the invoices to be displayed
- Number – if necessary, enter one or more outgoing invoice numbers as a search criterion for the invoices to be displayed
- Transferred to controlling – time of transfer to controlling
- Transferred to financials – enter a date or a period as a search feature for the previous transfer time of the invoices to the financial accounting
- Creation time point – enter a date or a period as a search criterion for the entry time of the invoice transfer
- Created by – if necessary, enter one or more users as search criteria for the person who edited the invoice
Work pane
A table is available in the work pane in which the requested data records are displayed. You can determine yourself which information is displayed for a data record using freely selectable columns. In principle, all fields that can be entered for the selection can also be displayed.
View „Standard
All the main table columns in this view are described below.
- Origin – indication of whether it is an incoming or outgoing invoice
- Invoice – identification of the invoice
- Transferred to controlling – time of transfer to controlling
- Transferred to financials – time of transfer to controlling
- Creation time point – date and time for recording the transfer
- Status (Transfer) – this column shows the transfer status of the invoice. The following values are possible:
- Transfer to CTL:
- Not transferred
- Transfer
- In process
- Transfer to FAC:
- Not transferred
- Transfer
- In process
- Created by – the employee who carried out the data transfer is displayed in the column.
Application-related actions
The following application-related actions are available in the Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application:
- New transfer
- New transfer controlling
- New transfer financials
New transfer
When this action is called, a website dialog opens with which the new transfer of the selected invoices to financial accounting and controlling can be started. The dialog window offers various options and background settings for this purpose. The data is provided in the Cockpit: Posting runs controlling and in the Cockpit: Posting runs financial accounting and can be further processed there in the usual way.

New transfer controlling
In contrast to the previously described New transfer action, calling up this action only triggers the re-takeover of selected invoices into Controlling. A transfer to the financial accounting does not take place. The data is provided in the Cockpit: Posting runs controlling and can be further processed there in the usual way.
New transfer financials
In contrast to the previously described New transfer controlling action, calling up this action only triggers the re-transfer of selected invoices to financial accounting. A transfer to controlling does not take place. The data is provided in the Cockpit: Posting runs financial accounting and can be further processed there in the usual way.
Customizing
No settings need to be made for the Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application in the Customizing application.

Authorizations
Authorizations can be assigned by means of authorization roles as well as by assigning an organization. More about the authorization concept can be found in the articlw Authorizations.
Special capabilities
The Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application has no special capabilities.
Organizational assignments
Organizational structures are used to control which data can be viewed, used, or edited. The Content-based authorizations function must be activated in the Customizing application for this purpose.
In order for the Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application to be displayed to a person in the user menu, they must be assigned to an organization that is integrated into one of the following organizational structures:
- Financials
In cockpits, the data that can be queried is controlled based on the views of the cockpit. Authorizations for the views must be assigned so that a person can query or further process data in the Cockpit: Repeat invoice transfer application. For each view, authorizations for opening the associated receipt application and authorizations for the associated business entity are to be assigned using an authorization role.
