Topic overview
With the Report run groups application, defined reports can be summarized across organizations. Once defined, report run groups can then be called up by various companies, which complements the Report runs application. In the case of report runs, a wide variety of reports and report definitions from the areas of financial accounting and controlling are combined into one report run, which then creates the reports, e.g. as a background call (Process report run group), thus making it easier to call up recurring reports. However, only in the respectively activated company. With the Report run groups application, the defined report runs can be assigned to groups and called up and processed from every company.
The Report run groups application is used to assign and maintain any number of report runs from any company to report run groups.
Restrictions
The runtime behavior of report runs can have a negative effect on the performance of the system. The background function Process report run group should therefore be used with care.
