The Sales channels application, belonging to the Multi-channel sales framework, makes it possible to create sales channels with the use of adapters.
In order to create a sales channel with the Cloud adapter, select the Cloud option in the Adapter field of the Sales channels application. Once the option is selected, the Cloud tab is displayed in the work pane.
With the Cloud adapter, as compared to other adapters, it is not necessary to enter data required for connection with the external system on the adapter tab. Data needed for synchronization with Comarch ERP Enterprise system (a link to the environment and a user certificate password) should be entered in the external system. The first synchronization is performed on the side of the external system.
Cloud tab
The tab contains settings related to content languages and time zone:
- Content language (required) – in this field, it is necessary to select a default language for multilingual objects (e.g. item descriptions)
- Additional languages – through the field’s [Value assistant] button, it is possible to enter additional languages for multilingual objects to be supported by the external system
- Timezone (required) – using the field’s [Value assistant] button, it is necessary to select the current timezone
