Application description

Comarch Webshop item sets application

The application is composed of a header, containing the standard toolbar, and a work pane.

The application header contains fields allowing the user to define the criteria according to which existing item sets are to be displayed in the work pane:

  • Sales channel – in this field, it is possible to select a sales channel whose item sets are to be displayed in the work pane. Available sales channels can be selected from the list under the [Value assistant] button.
  • Name – this field makes it possible to search for item sets according to their name entered upon their creation
  • Related item – it allows selecting a related item as a search criterion. Available items can be selected after clicking the [Value assistant] button.
  • Main item – it allows selecting a main item as a search criterion. Available items can be selected after clicking the [Value assistant] button.

Work pane

The work pane displays all created item sets by default. They can be filtered with the use of criteria entered in the header, sorted, or exported to a file.

The work pane allows the user to add new item sets, as well as edit and delete existing ones. Available columns include:

  • Sales channel (required) – in this field, it is necessary to select a sales channel that uses the Comarch ERP Webshop adapter for which an item set is to be created. Available sales channels can be selected after clicking the [Value assistant] button.
  • Name – it allows entering the name of an item set to be created
  • Description – it allows entering the full description of an item set
  • Main item (required) – in this field, it is necessary to enter the main item of an item set. As subsequent items making up a single item set are entered, the same item should be entered in the Main item field in each subsequent table row.
  • Related item (required) – in this field, it is necessary to enter a related item. Each subsequent related item must be added in a separate row and assigned to the same main item.
  • Priority – this field makes it possible to assign a priority according to which items making up a given set are to be displayed in an online store. The default value is 0. It means that no priority will be applied for a given item. Low-priority items will be displayed first.
  • Percent, price (required) – the field is divided into two parts. In the first part, it is necessary to enter a numeric discount value; in the other, it should be determined whether it is a percentage discount (by entering %) or a fixed amount discount (by entering a store’s currency, e.g. EUR).
  • Amount – in this field, it is necessary to enter the quantity of a related item making up a given set
  • Free of charge – using this parameter, it is possible to display a given related item as a freebie in an online store
Hint
In order to create a new item set, it is first necessary to enter the same item with the 0 priority in the Main item and Related item fields. Next, items should be assigned to it in successive rows with priorities ascending by 1; the same main item should be entered for each new line item.
