Topic overview
The Banks application provides you with additional fields that you can use to define the status of a bank identification. For example, you can use them to indicate that a bank receives a new bank identification as a result of a merger.
Application description
You use the Banks application to enter new banks and edit existing ones. The application does not consist of an identification area and a work area, but only has input fields.
Input fields
The following fields have been added to the identification area:
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Bank identification state | Select the status of the bank identification. The following statuses are available: - Released - Succession/merger announced - Succession/merger released - Deletion announced - Deleted |
Date | If required, enter the date from which the selected bank identification status applies. If the bank identification status is "Released", the field is not ready for input. |
Successor bank identification | Enter the bank identification that the bank receives as a result of the succession, merger or deletion. If the bank identification status is "Succession/merger released", you must enter a subsequent identification. The field is not ready for input if the bank identification status is "Released". |
Hint
You can use the background application Import bank data to enter new banks and edit bank data.
Customizing
The following setting in the Bank data import function in the Customizing application is relevant for the extended Banks application:
- Data supplier and format – only the selected data providers can be selected in the field of the same name in the Banks application.
