Extension: Warehouses/Multi-channel sales

The extension of Warehouses application in the Multi-channel sales provides fields that are specific to the Multi-channel sales framework . The extension allows to:

  • Assign MCS classification to a warehouse.

Application description

With the extension of Warehouses application you create or edit extension attributes of warehouses.

The extension of Warehouses application comprises additional tab Multi-channel sales in the work pane.

Note
If the tab Multi-channel sales is not visible, please make sure that the view Multi-channel sales is selected in the Select and organize views… menu button in the right-hand part of the standard toolbar. For more information regarding the views, see the article Customizable user interface.

Multi-channel sales tab

The fields are as follows:

  • MCS warehouse classification – this field specifies the warehouse classification which must be used for availability calculation in sales channel.

Business entities

The following business entity is relevant for the Warehouses application.

Warehouse

com.cisag.app.inventory.obj.StorageArea

It is used, for example, to perform the following:

  • Control storage locations
  • Order inventory

The business entity is not a part of any business entity group.

Customizing

No settings need to be made in the Customizing application for the extension of Warehouses application.
