Marking a withdrawal restriction for deletion

A withdrawal restriction can be marked for deletion. This means that the withdrawal restriction is marked for later removal from the database by a reorganization application. As long as the withdrawal restriction has not been removed from the database, you can remove the deletion marker at any time.

Instructions

  1. Open the Withdrawal restrictions application
  2. In the Withdrawal restriction field, enter the identification of the withdrawal restriction for which you want to set a deletion flag
  3. Select the [Refresh] button in the standard toolbar
  • The withdrawal restriction is opened.
  1. Select the [Mark for deletion] button in the standard toolbar
  • The storage restriction is marked for deletion.

Deleting a withdrawal restriction

If you have administrator rights to the OLTP database, you can also remove the withdrawal restriction directly from the database without using a reorganization application. To do this, use the [Delete] action instead of the [Mark for deletion] action.

Preconditions

You can only delete a withdrawal restriction if it is not being used. In particular, the withdrawal restriction must not be used in the following application:

  • Items
  • Classifications (inventory item classification 1)
  • Storage restrictions
  • Warehouses

Instructions

  1. Open the Withdrawal restrictions application
  2. Enter the identification of the withdrawal restriction you wish to delete in the Withdrawal restriction field
  3. Select the [Refresh] button in the standard toolbar
  • The withdrawal restriction is opened.
  1. Select the [Delete] button in the standard toolbar
  • A dialog to confirm the deletion process is opened.
  1. Confirm in the dialog box that you really want to delete the withdrawal restriction
  • After a successful deletion check, the withdrawal restriction is deleted. If the withdrawal restriction could not be deleted, a corresponding error message is displayed.
Note
If you do not specify a warehouse for deletion, the withdrawal restrictions for all warehouses for which this withdrawal restriction was created are also deleted. If you enter a warehouse before refreshing and then delete, the withdrawal restriction will only be deleted for this warehouse.
