Application description

You can use the Cockpit: Posting run transfer numbers application to get an overview of all or individual transfer information. All transfer information that corresponds to the search characteristics of the query pane, e.g. for stockand non-cash postings, is displayed. The information displayed includes the last transferred record numbers for each organization.

The application consists of a query and a work pane.

Query pane

Query fields are stored in the query pane. Usually the most important query fields are already available. However, the number of query fields and their placement can vary. You can determine yourself which query fields are displayed.

The fields of the query pane in detail:

  • Partner – if necessary, enter one or more organizations as a search criterion for the transfer information to be displayed.
  • Application – if necessary, select the target application of the data transfer as a search feature for the data to be displayed. Possible selection values are:
    (All)
    Asset accounting
    Controlling
    Financial accounting
    ERP

Origin – if necessary, select the area of origin of the data transfer as a search feature. Possible selection values are:
(All)
Production
Inventory posting
Payment history
Projects
Time recording

  • Last transferred record number – Last assigned record number of the transmission.
  • Last action timestamp – date and time of last processing of this posting run.
  • Transfer from date – date for the transfer start.
  • Transferred from number – if required, enter one or more record numbers as a search feature for the start of the search

Work pane

A table is available in the work pane in which the requested transfer information is displayed.

Standard view

All the main table columns in this view are described below.

  • Partner Organization of the transfer.
    • Application – target application for transfer. Possible values:
      Asset accounting
      Controlling
      Financial accounting
      ERP
  • Origin – origin of the data. Possible values:
    • Production
    • Inventory posting
    • Payment history
    • Projects
    • Time recording
  • Last transferred record number – last assigned record number of the transmission
  • Last action timestamp – date and time of last processing of this posting run
  • Transfer from date – date for the transfer start
  • Transferred from number – if required, enter one or more record numbers as a search feature for the start of the search

The following application-related action is available in the Cockpit: Posting run transfer numbers application:

Create transfer start number

When this action is called, the background application Generate number opens, in which you specify the organization, the origin, the application and the transfer date. The corresponding start number of the transfer is then generated using the In batch or Immediately button.
