Logic for downloading and updating documents in Comarch Mobile

In Comarch Mobile application, it is possible to:

1. Download sales orders and quotes, both in the case of documents issued outside the mobile application and ones that have been issued in the application and exported from Comarch ERP Enterprise.

Example
A document issued by PH1 user will be downloaded to the application of PH2 user only after importing PH1’s document to Comarch ERP Enterprise and exporting it back to the intermediary mechanism.
Note
When generating a new mobile database in a situation where documents visible in Comarch ERP Enterprise have already been issued by a given user, the documents issued by this user for customers available in Comarch Mobile will be downloaded to the application, regardless of whether or not the Download documents from Headquarters parameter in Comarch Mobile Management is enabled.

2. Download the statuses of sales orders and quotes available in the mobile application (both ones issued in Comarch Mobile and in the ERP system)

3. Download document updates, for instance after making changes in Comarch ERP Enterprise to a document issued in Comarch Mobile

Enabling the Download documents from Headquarters parameter in Comarch Mobile Management displays, after synchronization, the Retrieve documents from system parameter in the application settings (available after selecting the [Comarch Mobile] tile). The table below presents information on downloading documents, statuses, and document updates in the context of the parameter’s configuration in Comarch Mobile.

In documents that are displayed in the document list in Comarch Mobile and have been issued by the logged-in user, all changes are downloaded upon synchronization, regardless of whether or not the Retrieve documents from system parameter in the application is enabled.

Example
If another item is added in the Headquarters to a document issued in Comarch Mobile, an update for that document will be downloaded to Comarch Mobile from Comarch ERP Enterprise.

However, in such a case, historical documents will not be downloaded. Only after enabling the Retrieve documents from system parameter in Comarch Mobile will it be possible to download historical documents not currently available in the application, and then to download statuses and updates for them.

Additionally, updates and statuses for documents issued by users other than the currently logged-in user will not be downloaded if the Retrieve documents from system is not enabled.

Complete the following steps in order to download documents to Comarch Mobile from Comarch ERP Enterprise:

1. In Comarch ERP Enterprise, enable the Export historical sales orders and Export historical sales quotations parameters for the sales channel on the Comarch Integration BUS tab. For more information, see the Downloading historical documents – Configuration article.

2. In Comarch Mobile Management, enable the Download documents from Headquarters parameter in the operator profile and select the document types to be downloaded to Comarch Mobile. For more information, see the Downloading historical documents – Configuration article.

3. In Comarch Mobile, enable the Retrieve documents from system parameter and specify a relevant time range.

4. Finally, perform synchronization.
