Inventory report parameters
In Comarch mPOS application, it is now possible to define the application’s behavior in the case where the user submits an inventory report. In Comarch ERP Enterprise, in the application Inventory count types, there is a new parameter mPOS report approval which enables the user to determine the way in which report items are to be marked:
- Report only or Report and close – default
- Report only
- Report and close
[Count All] button on the inventory sheet list (continuous inventory)
A new button [Count All] has been added on the list of inventory sheets opened from the inventory main menu; the button is available with respect to sheets related to inventories of the Continuous type. Using the button automatically adds all unclosed items of the selected sheet to the inventory report.
Ergonomic improvements in the lot detail window
Ergonomic improvements have been made with regard to the process of the definition of inventoried item lots thanks to the introduction of a mechanism prompting the list of existing values after entering first characters in the field Lot Number and a feature automatically suggesting an expiration date assigned to a selected number.
Sales order picking in the offline mode
As of version 2021.1, it is possible to pick sales orders in the offline mode. For this purpose, it is necessary to activate the parameter Enable offline sales order preparation in the application Sales channels.
The feature makes it possible to start and end the order picking process without the verification of connection with the synchronization services (POS Agent and Headquarters). If connection is not established, information on the modification of a given order or on the completion of a picking process on another device is not immediately available to the user. This mode should only be used in the case where the wireless signal is not strong enough on the premises or where devices can only access network if they are placed in the docking station.
The process of sales order picking is completed in the same way as in the case of the online mode, with the exception that it cannot be parked and that, once the user tries to confirm the picking, the application displays a relevant notification saying that it works in the offline mode and that it is necessary to perform synchronization manually. Confirming a sales order picking process in the offline mode means that it is saved locally on the device but resources are not yet reserved in the system.
Sending collected picking data allows the final process completion – the order’s status is updated, resources are reserved, and the process is shared on other devices. The data must be sent from a location with an active connection to network and the synchronization services. To send data, it is necessary to select the button [Send Picking Data]. As picking data is being sent, the application cannot be used. Should there be errors or conflicts, the application displays a failure notification; once it is accepted, the sending process needs to be started again in order to continue the processing of subsequent picking data.
