Request for adding a new database

The request for adding a new, empty database is made via the WWW Platform. After logging in on the user account with administrator rights in the Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard system, select the Bazy danychDodajDodaj nową bazę danych tab and complete and approve the selected form as required. Each company database above the second one is payable.




Request for adding a presentation base

The request for adding a presentation base (KH Presentation or KP Presentation) is made via the WWW Platform. After logging in on the user account with administrator rights in the Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard system, select the Bazy danychDodajDodaj nową bazę danych DEMO tab and complete and approve the selected form as required. Each company database above the second one is payable.




Request to restore the database from backup

The request for restoring (connecting as another database in the installation) a database from the backup should be made via the WWW Platform. After logging in on the user account with administrator rights in the Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard system, select the Bazy danychDodaj tab, then select the „Odtwórz bazę danych z kopii zapasowej” option. In the request, please provide the name under which the database should be visible after restoration and indicate the backup file (only in .bac or .bak format), which will be loaded by the WWW Platform upon approval of the application.

Caution
If the backup file is incorrect, the request will be rejected. The reason for the rejection can be seen in the Bazy danych – Historia zgłoszeń tab.

Caution
Currently, a backup file of no more than 500 MB can be added by submitting a request. For larger files, please contact us at optima.chmura@comarch.pl.




Request to replace a database from a shared backup

The request to replace the active database from the backup should be made via the WWW Platform. After logging in on the user account with administrator privileges in the Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard system, select the Bazy danychDodaj tab, then select the Zastąp bazę danych z kopii zapasowej” option. The application must be completed and approved as required, and the database backup file (only in .bac or .bak format, or .zip archive) should be made available in the Comarch IBARD service or via a direct link (with no registration / login requirement) to the file in another virtual disk service.

Caution
The database file must be made available before submitting the application from the level of the WWW Platform. Lack of correct sharing or other inconsistencies will result in rejection of the application. The reason for the rejection can be seen in the Bazy danychHistoria zgłoszeń tab.

Detailed instructions on sharing the file can be found in the bulletin: Instructions for sharing the database in the Comarch IBARD service. The backup copy of the database is connected by the Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard assistant during the assistant’s work.




Backing up the database

The request to generate a database backup can be made via the WWW Platform. After logging in to the user account with administrator rights in the Comarch ERP Optima system in the service model, select the Bazy danychZarządzaj, tabl then select the choosen database and click the „Wykonaj kopię” option. The application must be completed and approved as required. The grace period for re-performing the free database backup is 7 days.

Request to delete an existing database

The request to delete an existing database is made via the WWW Platform. After logging into the user account with administrator privileges in the Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard system, select the Bazy danychZarządzaj tab, select the database and click „Usuń bazy danych”.

Caution
It is recommended that you make a backup copy of the database before submitting it for deletion.

This feature is unavailable during the trial period of the program.




Connecting a database backup to the desktop version

In order to be able to connect the backup of the database from the Comarch ERP Optima system in the service model to the stationary version of Comarch ERP Optima, you must first verify the compatibility of the SQL Server and Comarch ERP Optima versions, because the database cannot be connected to the older version of SQL Server / Comarch ERP Optima.

Migration from the Comarch ERP XT system to Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard

To transfer data from the Comarch ERP XT system to the Comarch ERP Optima system, select the „Moje konto” tab in the upper right corner from the drop-down list.

Then switch the view to the „Zarządzaj kontem” tab. After performing the above action, you will be able to send a request for data access to the Comarch ERP Optima system.

After performing the above operation, a message will be displayed in the upper right corner that the request for data has been successfully sent.

Within three business days of generating the request, you will receive an e-mail from our consultant who will provide the database or send further instructions if additional formalities need to be completed.

The database generated from Comarch ERP XT can be imported to Comarch ERP Optima Chmura Standard after ordering and activation of this service. If you do not have access to this system yet, you can order via the form on the website https://zamow.online.comarch.pl/

Within two business days of completing the order form, you will receive an activation e-mail with the login details for the service, which will also be a confirmation of the contract. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period with a two-month notice period, effective at the end of a calendar month.
