Opening the drawer

The tile [Open Drawer] enables the direct opening of the cash register’s drawer in Comarch POS application.

Note
In order to manually open the drawer, the operator needs to be assigned a relevant permission in the ERP system.

To handle the drawer functionality, it is necessary to define an external device of the Drawer type and select it in the definition of the POS workstation in the ERP system.

In the ERP system, it is possible to define parameters handling the automatic opening of the drawer:

  • For selected payment forms applied to complete a document payment
  • For payments applied before or after printing printable documents on a receipt printer
  • Before or after applying payments for documents unprintable on a receipt printer
  • Upon ending a day
  • Upon counting a cash register balance
  • For CD/CW documents
