The anonymization of personal data is a process of deleting or encrypting the personal data of a given customer or contact person/family member.
The user cannot anonymize the personal data of a customer/contact person/family member in the application – such an operation may only be performed in the ERP system. As a result of anonymization, a customer is deactivated, while all data of that customer is erased (including address and contact details). Information on anonymization is synchronized by the POS workstation, as a result of which:
- A given customer is not visible on the customer list
- The customer’s data is not visible in documents issued for that customer before (the data is anonymized)
- It is no longer possible to issue documents for the given customer
- It is no longer possible to generate documents on the basis of a source document issued for the anonymized customer
- It is no longer possible to associate a complaint with a trade document which has contained the data of the anonymized customer – the application will then set the customer as Undefined and display the notification: “Cannot save the customer in the complaint. The customer’s data has been anonymized.”
