A gift card is a type of payment card that allows payments to be made using available funds. They can also be issued by retailers as part of a promotional strategy. Integration of gift cards supported by a payment terminal with the Nepting or Ingenico protocol has been introduced.

On the POS workstation, the user can:

• Pay with a gift card
• Return funds to a gift card in the process of sales correction
• Top up a card – the customer will pay in one transaction for the standard items in a document, as well as for topping up the card
• Print confirmation for top-up/recharge transactions
• Deactivate a card
• Verify card balance
