By default, object lists in the application display all available filters (also the ones based on attributes). An operator with relevant permissions may hide selected filters.

For instance, on the list Sales Orders and Quotes, it is possible to hide the filter Subtotal Value for a selected theme. To do so, open [Configuration] → [Interface Configuration] → [Layout Management] and select the Sales Orders and Quotes view.

Next, drop down the tab Elements.

Then, drop down the Container list and search a relevant filter container or select it in the working area.

In the working area, select the filter Subtotal Value and drag it to the container.

To display the filter again, the user would need to drag it from the container on the right side of the window and drop it in the working area.

Saving changes for the currently used or newly created theme will hide the Subtotal Value filter on the Sales Orders and Quotes list.
