Messages in Comarch POS

Note
Messages to be displayed on a POS workstation can be defined in Comarch ERP Standard on the Subsidiaries POS Messages tab.

Messages on the task list are sorted according to their effective periods determined in the ERP system. Additionally, if a high priority has been assigned in the system, an exclamation mark is displayed next to the given message. The Messages section is divided into unread and read messages.

Each message can contain:

  • Subject – the subject of a message sent to the POS workstation
  • Ended – this parameter, deselected by default, can be manually selected by a user or is selected automatically once the date specified in the End Date field expires
  • Priority – allows determining the priority of a message (i.e. the sequence for displaying messages in Comarch POS); available options include:
    • Normal
    • High – it displays an additional exclamation mark icon by high-priority tasks in Comarch POS
  • Message – a text field where messages or links sent to Comarch POS can be entered
  • POS Centers – POS centers within the company structure that should receive a given message. At least one POS center must be active.

In the Scheduling Details section, it is possible to enter the validity date of a given message; available parameters include Start Date, End Date, and All day event.

The [View Details >>] button allows displaying message details. The new message details window contains the following buttons:

  • [Print] – it prints the message using a new printout definition
  • [Confirm to have read] – it confirms that the operator has read the message. The button is available until the first confirmation of reading the message.
  • [Close] – it closes the message details window
