Sorting data in the application

To sort data in the application, first you need to select the filter icon on the toolbar. After the filter is displayed, select its header to open the filter settings. Here, you can specify the criteria by which the application should search for data and sort it in a given list. Once you save a particular sorting direction, it will be automatically set after opening or refreshing the list. Sorting is carried out according to the filter settings.

By default, the application has no sorting options defined, with list items displayed according to their order (ID) in warehouse documents. To sort data, for instance, by name, open the filter settings and set the sorting option for Name either in an ascending order () or descending order (), according to the direction indicated by the arrow. Next, save the settings with the [Save] button. The list will be sorted and the sorting option will be saved.

To refresh data according to the sorting option set in the filter settings, you can:

  • Press the [F5] key, which is the default key for refreshing application lists
  • Define another keyboard shortcut for refreshing lists according to the sorting option set
  • Expand the filter (by clicking the filter icon on the toolbar) and select the button to sort the list
  • Open the filter settings and save them again
  • Click the [To Be Processed]/[All] button in the list of items (the left button in the bottom bar) and again in the Select menu

With the default application settings unchanged, you can define the sorting options for the following filters in the item list: Code, EAN, Name, Location.
